Amazing Ice Ornament

Amazing isn't it? How would anyone thought about it? Red Ted Art shows what they put into their creations.

Crafting a Green World!

Have you heard of it? I don't.

Green is the new black, as they say, but what in the world does that mean? It means living sustainably is the “cool” thing to do, but some of us have been doing these things for years. Take crafters for example – many of us keep scraps of fabrics from other projects for future use, “frog” old sweaters and scarfs to have fresh yarn to work with, and tweak items and patterns we find to make them just right for our tastes.
The renewed popularity of green living has benefits for creative folks, including new sustainable fabrics and innovate ideas for reusing a plethora of resources. For those of us who enjoy being a part of the creative process or are beginning to experiment with do-it-yourself projects, then Crafting a Green World is for you!

The Bidayuh Bamboo baskets - Traditionally, basket plays an important part in the life of the native tribe who dwell and hunt in the forest and paddy plantation. As such, the Bidayuhs in Sarawak has over the years developed a series of basket for different functions. Beside the rattan series of Tambok and Lanjit, the bamboo baskets are yet another contribution. However, these heritage is slowly vanishing due to its difficult process of preparation and its tedious weaving styles and technique.

In every craft has its own story. If we don't protect or continue the legacy, the craft would disappear forever and nobody would know about it.

Decorative Tape

What is Decorative tape? Most of deco tape is made of OPP, oriented polypropylene, is a flexible material derived from melting and orienting (stretching!) a polymer called polypropylene.

It is similar to Japanese Masking tape with beautiful design, colors, and fab designs. It can be use as alternative to ribbon when wrapping gifts, to make gift tags, cards, bunting. Its only limitation is your imagination!
